About Mini Rivet Bush Standoffs
Mini Rivet Bush Standoffs provide a strong reusable thread in applications requiring a component be spaced from the parent panel.
Ideally suited to mounting printed circuit boards for example, they offer a captivated solution to the more usual hexagon pillar and screw method and avoids the potential problem of loose hardware in an electrical environment.
They can be installed into panels as thin as 0.5mm and do not suffer from the maximum hardness limitations of Self Clinching Nuts and Standoffs so are suitable for installation into Stainless Steel panels.
The Mini Pattern has the added benefit of a small footprint in applications with little space or with centerline to edge constraints.
Available in Steel and Stainless Steel as standard with Aluminium and Brass available to order.
We can supply Mini Rivet Bush Standoffs to suit a range of panel thicknesses and can supply parts to non-standard dimensions and hole sizes to suit your specific application.
Ideally Mini Rivet Bush Standoffs should be installed using a press with a suitability profiled punch to optimally swage the spigot, however they can be installed using a hammer and ball bearing.
