Self Clinching Studs
Torque-Out Performance

Testing Method

Self Clinching Studs Torque-Out test method

The Torque-Out figures obtained by this test procedure pertain to the holding power of the fastener in the sheet only. They do not pertain to the axial strength of the threads, allowable tightening torque or design loadings for the part.

The performance figures detailed on this site are averages taken over a range of tests and are provided only to give an indication of the likely performance of the part for a given set of circumstances. Real world results will vary depending on variations in installation panel material, hole preperation and installation procedure, so should
be offered and used as a guide only

We would always recommend you carry our your own tests in the actual application using the methods detailed below, where actual performance data is required.

We are more that happy to provide samples for you to carry out your own tests.
