All of our products are manufactured for reliability and consistently high quality and are RoHS compliant as standard.
Our bright zinc based plating's are all high quality trivalent clear chromate based finishes.

Rivtex, Pias and Strux Fasteners
Our high performance Pias® Self Piercing nuts offer a stronger and highly reliable alternative to traditional self clinching, staking and weld nuts.
In most cases a
Pias® solution will yield significant cost and time savings when compared to weld nuts or a staked fastener.
Eliminates Welding - and the need for expensive and sometimes hazardous welding operations.
Repeatable Reliability - with proper installation, Rivtex® and Pias® clinch nuts can reduce potential failures.
Consistent push-out and
torque--out strength is achievable from the first to the last installation.
High Performance - once installed, Pias® nuts provide a high resistance to rotational and push-out forces.
Torsional and
push-out strength are limited only by the shear strength of the panel material.
Installation - Utilising modular punch dies and blocks, Pias® nuts can be installed
on most presses, or for very high production rates, fully automated feed and installation equipment is
available.
Modular construction of the punch blocks allow up to 100 stroke per minute.

Design & Development of bespoke Fasteners
The hole is punched and the fastener, the PIAS® piercing nut, is permanently installed into the panel in one single operation.
The PIAS® system can be used in aluminium, high-strength and / or pre-coated steel plate in a huge variety of end products and represent a new way to effect cost savings.
The tool components can be used in virtually all tool and press systems. Usually, standard components are used. This allows very quick individual completion of punch heads and dies.
The simple and intelligent design ensures high reliability of all system components at all stages of the process. Different feeder solutions make this system suitable for small medium and high volume production.
The wide range of uses, high efficiency and cost-saving potential of this fastening method and the numerous advantages over conventional methods of fastening mean more users worldwide are enjoying the benefits of this unique system.

Suitable for panel thickness: 0.6 - 2.5mm
Available in thread Sizes: M5 - M12
Available in strength property classes:
8 and 10
Features:
The square piercing nut provides higher torque performance with very flexible installation systems

The piercing nut is clamped in the punch, the sheet metal is placed on the die.

When the punch moves down, the spigot of the nut punches the hole into the sheet.

The stamping waste drops through the die and the sheet is pressed into the nut.

The punch is in lower position and the sheet metal is completely forced into the undercut of the nut.

Part is fully installed. The sectional view shows how the sheet metal has flowed into the special clinching feature.
In order to punch and install PIAS® nuts, tooling and feeding equipment for the PIAS® system is required.
