Despite the tragic floods throughout South Yorkshire, fastener specialist Northern Precision of Doncaster (www.npfasteners.com) says its ‘business as usual’ at the South Yorkshire site.
While flood waters coupled with road closures have caused chaos throughout the Doncaster area, Northern Precision’s sales director Steve Smith says the company’s thoughts are with those who have been affected.
He says fastener supplies have been relatively unaffected from the company’s Durham Lane site – “though we are continually monitoring the weather situation”.
Northern Precision is the independent market-leading single-source supplier of fasteners and special-purpose turned and cold-formed parts.
He continues: “The safety of our staff and families is our priority, of course, but so far we’ve been able to continue to offer next-day deliveries across all our ranges of 5,000 different sheet metal fasteners,” he says.
