Broaching fasteners provide strong reusable threads in non ductile materials such as printed circuit boards, polycarbonates, acrylics, glass epoxy and resin laminates etc.
Studs are provided with an electro tin finish and provide excellent solderability so can be used as solderable connectors in a printed circuit board.
These fasteners can also be installed into soft aluminium as an alternative to self clinching fasteners if necessary.
