Arnold & Shinjo System technik offers solutions in many different areas.

Tooling and feeding equipment is available for industry standard press and punch systems. The integration of these system components in to your existing process technology substantially reduces the cost of production and maintains a high level of process safety.

Standardised press units

In order to allow customers and industries using a lower degree of automation share the benefits offered by these mechanical fastening systems, Arnold & Shinjo has developed the cost effective C-shape punching unit.

This solution for single fastener placement allows for the installation of PIAS® piercing nuts and several types of clinch studs.
The modular design allows the installation of the fastenings from above as well as from below.

There are various options available for feeding the fasteners:

• Feeding the fasteners by hand

• Feeding the fasteners by using refillable magazines
• Feeding the fasteners by using a vibratory spiral conveyor system

 

The fasteners are placed using a pneumatic-hydraulic cylinder. This allows for a quick cycle with a minimum of air consumption.

 

 

Semi automated processing

Several solutions are available from ARNOLD & SHINJO for the semi automated installation of PIAS® piercing nuts and several types of clinch studs.

 

At the centre of these is the C-shape press with fully automatic feeding system. Beyond that, there are also partly automated solutions and manually operated systems. All system variants have found their place in various applications at well-reputed manufacturers and can be integrated into existing production arrangements.

 

Robot controlled processing

Hardware-mechanised processing systems using C frames with variable overhang dimensions. Handling of fasteners and control of clinching process by robot. Rapid cycle frequency possible due to automated feeding of fastener and panel.
