ARNOLD & SHINJO provides an appropriate solution for nearly every type of application. The product range comprises piercing nuts and clinch studs allowing fully automatic installation in to all normal sheet metal grades. Both fastener types can be supplied with a surface finish to your requirments.

 

The nut product range

The different versions of the piercing nuts are suitable for applications with sheet metal between 0.6 and 4.0mms thick. The PIAS® series consists of the square PN, HN, and KP piercing nuts which are designed for installation in to the full range of sheet metal thickness from 0.6mm to 4.0mm.

The KP version in particular is designed to meet the higher torque demands of the automotive industry [for instance], with thread sizes available from M5 to M12 in both material property classes 8 and 10, and is suitable for the thickness range 0.6mm to 2.5mm..

The circular RIVTEX® RXN piercing nut is available in sizes M5 to M10 of property class 10, and is suitable for the thickness range 0.75mm to 2.5mm.

 

The stud product range

The RXS and SX clinch studs from ARNOLD & SHINJO are suitable for applications with sheet thicknesses between 0.75mm and 5.0mm.

The RXS series is available in thread sizes M5 to M10 and is recommended  for sheet thicknesses of 0.75mm to 2.5mm, the SX series is mainly intended for heavy loads and higher sheet thicknesses from 2.5mm to 5.0mm.

For both types in sizes M5 to M8 property classes 8.8 and 10.9 are available.
